RoHS/WEEE and REACH compliance of Elnec products.

The European Parliament and the Council issued the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive to "protect human health and the environment by restricting the use of certain hazardous substances in new equipment". The RoHS DIRECTIVE 2011/65/EU covers the same scope of electrical and electronic equipment that are under the WEEE DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU. Elnec products belong under Category 9, "Industrial Monitoring and Control Instruments" relating to both of directives above mentioned.

WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

All Elnec products meet WEEE compliance program and are marked and documented according to regulations of applicable directive.

RoHS (Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances)

All Elnec products are in full compliance with the applicable RoHS directive including DIRECTIVE (EU) 2015/863 amending Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU.

REACH (Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals)

Elnec s.r.o. declares that all products made by the company are in full compliance with European chemical regulation stated above.
